I've installed MasterCook, but I am unable to open it.
Restart your computer. Press and hold the SHIFT key on your keyboard while you launch MasterCook. Keep the key pressed until the program fully loads. It should load the Home screen.
ADDITIONALLY
If the above does not help, please do these things below.
1. Please restart your computer so that nothing is running.
2. Then use Windows to open this folder on your computer:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\MasterCook 15 (or 20 or 22 or 24)
Open the C drive. Open the Users folder. Open the Public folder. Open the Public Documents folder. Open the MasterCook 15 (or 20 or 22 or 24) folder.
Delete this file from that MasterCook 15 (or 20 or 22 or 24) folder: MasterCook.ini
When you delete the .ini file, it resets MasterCook, so you will likely need to follow these instructions to get the included cookbooks to reappear.
REINSTALL
Otherwise, if something on the computer corrupted the program beyond repair, you will need to reinstall as explained here:
