Installing MasterCook 22

1. PREPARATION

First, confirm your current version of MasterCook is functioning properly by going to the Cookbooks screen and selecting Refresh File List from the Tools menu. If it refreshes without a problem, then your content is likely good. If you have problems refreshing, see this article.

2. BACKUP YOUR CURRENT FILES

Next, backup the MasterCook files for your current version of MasterCook. See these instructions.

3. DOWNLOAD YOUR INSTALLATION FILE

If you previously purchased MasterCook 22 and you have a current subscription to MasterCook.com, you have active download links from your previous purchases in your Downloadable Product account page. Use the Download link in the right column for your previously purchased MasterCook 22. The Download link will always download the most recent version. Please allow the file to fully download before you attempt to open it.

Your web browser controls where files download on your computer. Most web browsers save them within the Downloads folder on your computer, so look in that folder.

If you have problems downloading, make sure your antivirus program and web browser are not blocking it. Brand new programs are often blocked because they are so new that they do not have a user reputation yet. See these articles:
