Cost Analysis is Calculated Wrong

I entered all of the costs for ingredients, but the cost per serving is not correct. What is happening?

How many servings does the recipe make? Do you have the correct servings stated for the recipe? That matters since the cost is based on each serving. If you don't list servings for the recipe then the cost is going to be based on the entire recipe as one serving.

Open your recipe to the recipe edit screen. Select/highlight one of the ingredient rows. Then select Ingredient Analysis from the Ingredient menu. When the Nutrition Per Serving window appears what is the cost listed for that ingredient? See this screenshot below.


Do this for each one of your ingredient rows in the recipe to determine which one is causing the cost to be miscalculated.
