Inserting a Degree Symbol into a Recipe

How do I insert the degree symbol into a recipe in MasterCook?

 There are two options.

1. MasterCook accepts the normal Windows shortcut keys to create the degree symbol such as holding down the ALT key on your keyboard while pressing the numbers 0176 on the numbers keypad on the right side of your keyboard. On a laptop you may need to press an additional function key prior to the Alt key according to the documentation that comes with your computer.
2. You can also open the Windows Character Map program (type "charmap" in the Windows Search) and copy the degree symbol from there and paste into MasterCook. See this article.
