I merged my ingredients from a previous version into MasterCook 14. However, when I look at my ingredients the costs fields are blank. Why didn't they transfer?
When you select to merge your ingredients you are prompted about what to do with duplicate ingredients. The dialog box asks if you wish to ignore the duplicate and use the existing ingredient. The existing is what version 14 is currently using. You want to replace the existing ingredient(s) and not ignore it, therefore select No or No To All.
