Error: A script required for this install to complete could not be run.

When trying to update or run the installation for MasterCook, I receive an error message that states:

There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

This error message means something on your computer "cleaned" the installation files that were used previously so they can't be located.

SOLUTION

You will need to use Windows to uninstall MasterCook 22. Then use the new download link to perform a fresh installation. See these instructions: MasterCook 22 Reinstallation
